How can I tell? The BP-2000 Series II
differs from the original BP-2000 in several ways:
- The BP-2000 Series II uses a USB cable to connect to the
computer. The Specimen Platform temperature is automatically controlled
through the software. It was released in April, 2004.
- The Original BP-2000 uses a ribbon cable (rather than a USB cable)
to connect to the computer. The Control Unit has a knob on the front
to control the Specimen Platform temperature. It was shipped prior to April, 2004.
